Frequently Asked Questions and Answers
At Boom Audio Services, we welcome the opportunity to meet and consult with all our clients. We have found however that some questions about our company and services, appear to be common to many of our clients seeking information, before hiring an audio production company. This section of our website is provided as an additional resource to facilitate information gathering.
What is the difference between a Sound Reinforcement System and a PA System
A sound reinforcement system is the combination of microphones, signal processors, amplifiers, and loudspeakers that makes live or pre-recorded sounds louder and may also distribute those sounds to a larger or more distant audience. In some situations, a sound reinforcement system is also used to enhance the sound of the sources on the stage, as opposed to simply amplifying the sources unaltered. PA systems or Public Address systems, are small sound reinforcement systems that are used primarily for reproduction of speech and recorded music in buildings and institutions. They could be as simple as a single microphone connected to a loudspeaker.
How much does your service cost ?

Our prices are competitive and in most cases we are able to work with most budgets, by presenting options and solutions to clients that assist them in making economical cost sensitive decisions.
Can I rent Equipment from you and pick it up at your warehouse ?
No. Our company is currently set up as a provider of audio production services. The set up and use of our inventory must be verified by our in-house technicians.
